How It Works

Here is how Ideal Protein works.

Overview

The body can burn energy from three sources; cardohydrates, protein and fat. The body will always burn carbohydrates first. When the body is out of carbohydrates, it will burn energy from protein and fat at the same time. While taking the high biological value proteins in the Ideal Protein weight loss method, lean muscle mass is held stable, forcing the body to burn fat. This allows the body to lose an average of 3-7 pounds per week and stay healthy. No drugs or stimulants are used, EVER! There is also an alternative protocol that allows Type I diabetics and adolescents to acheive similar results.

Phase one begins with a consultation with Tracy Gardner or weight loss coach who will design the perfect program for you to lose an average of 3-7 pounds per week. You will be having high quality biogenic protein for breakfast and lunch along with vegetables and lettuce. Dinner will consist of a regular protein such as chicken, fish or meat along with vegetables and lettuce. In addition, you will be consuming up to three snacks per day. OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE NEVER HUNGRY WHILE ON THIS PROGRAM! Weekly one-one -one meetings with your coach will ensure your success. Sample day on Phase 1:

  • Breakfast: Chocolate Pancakes from Ideal Protein and a cup of coffee (coffee optional)
  • Lunch: Chicken soup from Ideal Protein with vegetables and lettuce
  • Dinner: Steak with vegetables and lettuce
  • Snack: Ideal protein salt and vinegar ridges

Phase 2 will be implemented when you have reached 90% of your weight loss goal. During this phase both lunch and dinner consist of a regular protein like chicken, fish or meat with vegetabels and lettuce. The high quality biogenice proteins will be used only for breakfast and snacks. Again, you should never be hungry during this phase and all weekly coaching sessions will be continued.Sample day on Phase 2:

  • Breakfast: Egg, herb and cheese omlete from Ideal Protein with coffee (coffee is optional)
  • Lunch: Grilled chicken breast with vegetables and lettuce
  • Snack: Chocolate pudding from Ideal Protein
  • Dinner: Pork stuffed with mushrooms and herbs, vegetables and lettuce

In phase 3 you are transitioned from the fat loss protocol to a regular balanced diet in such a way as to ensure that you KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF! Phase 3 lasts for 14 days, and coaching will be continued on the same weekly schedule. Phase 3 is very important because it helps to set your body into a state of burning off a large number of calories every day instead of storing fat. Phase 3 will re-introduce moderate amounts of fat and carbohydrates to your diet. This program is going to increase your metabolism by the time it is done, so that you can eat more each day without gaining weight. You only have 1 Ideal packet per day with 2 other regular meals.Sample day on Phase 3:

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal, breakfast ham and coffee (optional)
  • Lunch: Grilled salmon salad with vegetables and lettuce
  • Dinner: Chicken stir frey with vegetables and lettuce
  • Snack: Chocolate soy puffs from Ideal Protein

Phase 4 is the maintenance phase, to be followed the rest of your life. This is where your coach works closely with you to teach you exactly what you need to do to stay healthy and keep the weight off for the rest of your life. At this point, all of your favorite foods come back in to your routine, but we will teach you how to eat them in the correct combinations. Most importantly, during this phase, YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE CHEAT DAY PER WEEK. A cheat day is when you eat whatever you want in whatever combinations you want without worrying about it!

This program is individualized and uses only real food to help you lose weight fast, without feeling hungry!

No Drugs! No Stimulants! No Starving!
