Hi Julie - How are you and thank you for the post! A few things about HCG first of all it isn't for everyone but it is a good program to help motivate my clients. Then we really work on lifestyle and making changes for the LONG - Term! :-)

The HCG Drops do help with the appetite and the first 3 days and actually first week is the toughest to adjust. Hunger is something we don't let our bodies feel often and so it is something to adjust to like I said especially the first week. Everyone is different and some are hungrier than others but after that first week most do well.

I have had clients have their fruit for breakfast and snack instead of with the two meals. So that would work to eat one fruit for breakfast and the other could be between lunch and dinner if that works for you.

As I mentioned this diet isn't for everyone and ideally I like my clients to learn new eating for a lifestyle. I don't like the word DIET and it is about really changing your relationship with food and your body image.

I want to find a plan that works for YOU!!! If you would like to schedule a consultation we can figure out the best plan and approach for you! I want you to live your best life it is about YOU FEELING SEXY IN YOUR OWN SKIN!!!! :-)

Hi Tracy,

Your site has helped a lot. One question I have before starting the HCG is since there's so little to eat, what do you do when you're hungry and it's not time for a meal?

Also I saw on one YouTubers journal that he ate his grapefruit and water as his breakfast. Since I get up so early I really need something in the morning other than coffee or water. Plus I'm on Prevacid so I eventually need something in my stomach. Does it matter when you eat the fruit?

As much as I see the results on everyone, I'm concerned as to keeping on this diet for the duration. I did Atkins and was miserable, not to mention incredibly constipated. It took me 3 months to lose 15 lbs and now I'm 12 years older and in my 50s. I'm single and go out with friends weekly, plus I get invited to peoples homes for dinner. Not only that but I love my red wine and some carbs. It's so hard to diet and not stay isolated from life. Vacations, dinners, just out in general. Anything you can help me with here?

Regards,
Julie

Sara - sending this again as I didn't reply directly to you! Drinking water seems so easy but can be so difficult. I recommend that you drink 2 quarts of water per day. It is easiest if you purchase or have a 1 qt water container to gauge how much you have consumed. If you are exercising you will need to increase the water intake to replenish the water lost during a good sweat session.

Be mindful of your body and your hunger. Is it really hunger? Or are you stressed, emotional, anxious, bored or is it just habit to eat. Log how you are feeling and ask yourself is this really hunger? Good luck Sara!!!

Sara I like to recommend that you drink 2 quarts of water a day. I suggest to clients to purchase a 1 quart water container and fill it twice or buy 1 quart water bottles. If exercising you will need to increase water to replenish what you 'sweat off'.

Be mindful of if you are really hungry. Sometimes it is emotions, stress or habit that make us want to eat. If we have cravings just listen to the body. :-)

Some great food for thought! I will be keeping your words in mind whenever I "think" I need to eat/drink something not so healthy. I don't drink enough water. Maybe I should make that my goal this year!

Eve ~ you nailed it and that is so correct. When I was younger I would try to be the 'supermom' and do it all. Now I have given up my 'cape' to just be the very best mom, wife, friend, daughter, health & nutrition counselor and person I can be when I need to be that role. It is all about BALANCE and taking care of ourselves so we can serve and take care of others! It is a lesson I have to remind myself of often but as I have gotten older it is so very important. Thank you for your amazing comments and keep posting!

Have a FAB Sunday!

Having a family AND a being woman in business can feel so overwhelming. it is so difficult to get things done, and not feel we are neglecting something. Sometimes something's got to give, right? We want to do things that are meaningful to us, make a difference in others' lives and still keep the 'home fires' going. You do a wonderful job of being in the mix. It isn't about being perfect, or we would all be done before we start! :) You are a remarkable woman!!!
